Enquire about 8m³Tell us about the leaves, grass cuttings, hedge trimmings and branches you want to clear. Mention long branches, thick wood, roots and stumps separately so acceptance and the loading plan can be confirmed.
Loosely piled branches occupy a different volume from compact grass cuttings. Measure the actual pile rather than guessing from the garden’s floor area.
Soil, stones, old plant pots, plastic bags and building rubble are different from plant cuttings. Keep them separate while you ask what can be accepted and whether separate loads are needed.
Do not assume a garden skip includes tree felling, pruning, carrying or loading labour.
If the pile is small enough to transport, a City facility may be an alternative. Check its specific waste list first. The City’s Induland page lists clean garden waste and allows up to three daily loads of garden waste, clean rubble and garage waste, subject to its vehicle-capacity and resource conditions.

Sea Point’s explicit “Waste materials not accepted” list includes clean garden waste and builders’ rubble. Its generic introduction conflicts with that list: confirm acceptance before making a trip.
Read Sea Point’s material lists ↗These are municipal self-haul conditions, not Orange’s truck limits or a claim about where your skip will be disposed of.
Orange Skip Hire serves the City of Cape Town metro, including Durbanville and other Northern Suburbs, the Southern Suburbs, Blouberg and the Helderberg. Include your street address and a description of the load in your enquiry.
This service is a delivered skip that you fill. It does not advertise recurring wheelie-bin collection or a crew to load loose piles. Find your area or estimate your loose pile’s volume.
Orange’s skip prices are 2m³ R850, 3m³ R930, 6m³ R1,500 and 8m³ R2,000 all-in. You load the skip. Confirm the contents, size and hire period before booking.
Ask when booking. Explain whether your garden waste is loose, bundled or bagged; do not assume plastic bags can be included in a clean garden load.
No specific composting or recycling outcome is promised here. Ask about the agreed disposal arrangement when booking.
Tell us the address, the load and the size you have in mind.
